Leah Bigbee currently serves as the Dean of Workforce Education at Jefferson State Community College, a role encompassing leadership and direction for all non-credit instructional areas and management of a team of eight full-time staff and sixty part-time instructors. Previous positions include Director of the Center for Workforce Education, Workforce Readiness Partnership Manager at Generation USA, and various roles at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in employer development and engagement. Leah's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Leadership at Troy University. Leah has demonstrated expertise in program development, community and corporate relations, and strategic planning throughout a career dedicated to enhancing workforce education and employer engagement.
