Sara Bogdan

Sara Bogdan has over a decade of experience in sustainability and environmental governance across multiple sectors. Currently serving as Director and Head of Sustainability and ESG at JetBlue Airways since May 2014, Sara has progressed through various roles in the organization, including Manager and Analyst positions. Previously, Sara managed sustainability programs for UCLA Health, overseeing initiatives for a major healthcare system recognized nationally for excellence. Other notable experiences include sustainability consulting for Walmart through Duke University’s Fuqua School and leading sustainability initiatives at Duke, including a Zero Waste to Landfill project. An academic background features a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Earth Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
