Thushara Liyanage has over three decades of experience in the IT field, currently serving as IT Manager at JF&I Packaging since April 2011, following a decade as Assistant IT Manager at Janatha Finance & Investments (Pvt) Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Masters in Information Systems Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Information System Management from the University of Colombo, as well as a Licentiate Chartered Accountants degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. Thushara Liyanage also completed G.C.E Advanced Level studies in Business/Commerce at Nalanda College Colombo.

JF & I commenced its operations in 1978 as a printing and packaging solutions provider. The company has a proud heritage of 40 years in the industry, catering to many multi-national brands such as PVH, Anesll, Unilever & Ahmad Tea as well as many local giants such as Hemas, MAS, Brandix, Noritake Lanka and CBL. Over the past 40 years, the company has grown from strength to strength, expanding its horizon to meet the market demand and stay up-to-date with the new technology. While owning 4 processing facilities within Sri Lanka, the company expanded its operations to foreign soil, by opening up a processing facility in UAE, dedicated to cater the Middle Eastern demand. And in 2022 expanded to Kenya.Further, plans are being drawn to expand operations to Bangladesh at the end of 2022.
