Ying-Wei Yang is a Tang Au-Chin Distinguished Professor and Full Professor at Jilin University in the College of Chemistry, with a focus on the International Joint Research Laboratory of Nano-Micro Architecture Chemistry (NMAC). Since February 2011, Ying-Wei Yang has progressed through various academic ranks at Jilin University, including Associate Professor. Previous experience includes a Visiting Professor position at Northwestern University, as well as postdoctoral roles at UC Irvine, UCLA with Sir Fraser Stoddart, and Arizona State University with John C Chaput. Ying-Wei Yang obtained a PhD in Organic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry and a B.S. in Chemistry from Nankai University, where early research assistance was provided under Yu Liu.
