Kat Heywood

Kat Heywood currently serves as the Head of Business Intelligence at Jisc since July 2020 and has been a mentor for TechUp Women since January 2022 and for The Girls' Network from 2019 to 2020. Prior experience includes the role of Senior Business Intelligence Manager at Durham University from 2012 to 2020, Higher Education Statistician at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills from 2008 to 2012, and Assistant Statistician at the Department for Education and Skills from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, Kat Heywood completed an internship at Accenture in 2001 and worked as a Student Research Engineer at BICC from 1997 to 1998. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Physics and an MSci in Physics from Durham University, as well as a qualification from the Institute of Coding's TechUP program.
