Dr. Shailendra Chouksey holds a Ph.D. in Management, a postgraduate in physics, and is an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University.
Dr. Chouksey has over 4 decades of corporate experience, 3 of which have been in association with JK Lakshmi Cement and he is part of the senior management team that has propelled the company to achieve greater heights.
Dr. Chouskey has headed several initiatives such as the introduction of ERP technology, making JK Lakshmi Cement India’s first ISO 9002 certified cement company, and the introduction of color-coded packaging in the cement industry. He is responsible for all the commercial, financial, and marketing activities of the company and is responsible for leading the company's large distribution network of over stockists/dealers, sales promoters, and transporters.
Dr. Chouksey has spearheaded various delegations to the government, both at the Central and State levels. He has successfully led the cement Industry as the Association from July 2016 - December 2018 in which capacity he has led industry meets at the level of PMO, Finance Ministry, Environment Ministry, GST Council.
He has also headed the National Council for Cement and Building Materials as Chairman for 3 years. He was nominated by the Government of India in 2017 to head the Development Council for the Cement Industry.

JK Lakshmi Cement Limited is a holding company. The Company is a manufacturer of cement. The Company is engaged in providing cementitious materials. It offers cement under JK Lakshmi Pro+ Cement, JK Lakshmi Cement, JK Lakshmi Power Mix, JK SmartBlox, JK GypGold and JK Lakshmiplast brands. JK Lakshmi Cement is in three variants: Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) (Blended), 53 Grade ordinary Portland cement (OPC) and 43 Grade OPC. The Company offers gypsum-based plaster under the JK GypGold brand; autoclaved aerated concrete blocks under the JK SmartBlox brand; site-mix concrete under the JK Lakshmi Power Mix brand, and Plaster of Paris products under the JK Lakshmiplast brand. The Company markets its products through a network of dealers in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and West Bengal, among others.
