Tom Butts is the Executive Chairman of MedeAnalytics and is a Strategic Advisor to JLL. Tom has held multiple executive leadership positions including Board Director of OraMetrix, Inc, a premier orthodontic technology company located in Richardson, TX and the Chairman and CEO of ZirMed, Inc., an information technology company located in Louisville, KY.
Prior to his role with ZirMed, and ZirMed’s acquisition by Bain Capital, Tom was the CEO of Optos PLC (FTSE: OPOSF), a global leader in retinal imaging technology located in Scotland, UK. Tom held the position of President and COO of IDX Systems Corporation, a global public healthcare information technology company where he oversaw the business before GE Healthcare subsequently acquired IDX. Prior to that, Tom spent 17 years with GE Healthcare, where he held a number of leadership positions in the US and Europe in sales, marketing, operations and M&A including General Manager of X-ray Europe and Global Vice President of OEC Medical Systems a business of GE Healthcare.
