May Kodama

May Kodama is a seasoned visual designer with extensive experience in leading design initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Visual Designer at Joby Aviation since February 2025, May previously held the role of Design Lead at kyu Collective, successfully launching the kyu House sub-brand focused on climate change and crafting a comprehensive brand system. Prior experience includes Senior Visual Designer positions at KAYA Climb and Communications Designer roles at IDEO, where May contributed to significant branding projects for high-profile clients. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Graphic Design, May's early design journey included internships and design roles that enhanced creative skills and collaboration across diverse projects.
