Dean Harrison has a diverse work experience in the advertising and marketing industry. Dean started their career at Pam Golding Properties as a Regional Marketing Account Executive and later became a Regional Marketing Account Manager. In 2011, they joined Ogilvy Africa as an Account Executive, where they were responsible for managing various SABMiller brands across African countries. Subsequently, they worked at Mortimer Harvey, first as an Account Manager and later as an Account Director, handling accounts such as Avios, RCL Foods Pet Food Division, and University of Johannesburg. In 2018, they joined Wunderman South Africa as an Account Director, overseeing clients in the telecom and pharmaceutical industry. Dean then joined M&C Saatchi Abel as a Group Account Director in 2019, working with clients such as Danone and Standard Bank. Dean's most recent positions include Group Account Director at Ogilvy South Africa, where they led the KFC account and managed projects for Tiger Brands and Pernod Ricard, and currently, Business Unit Director at Joe Public. Throughout their career, Dean's work involved creating brand campaign assets for various channels, including traditional media (TV, radio, print) and digital solutions (social media, websites, apps).

Dean Harrison attended Vega The Brand Communications School in 2006, where they earned a BA (Honours) degree in Brand Leadership. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2005, they studied at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, obtaining a BSocSci degree in Media & Marketing.
