Chris Downing has extensive experience in military training and management, currently serving as Training Manager at John Cockerill since September 2014. Prior to this role, Chris held various positions within the UK Ministry of Defence, including Master Gunner, where responsibilities involved maintaining training standards in the Strike and Integrate Branch. Additional roles included Sergeant Major Instructor Gunnery, providing mentorship to Officers and Soldiers, and serving as a Detachment Commander and Platoon Weapons Instructor, focusing on live firing training and initial soldier training. Chris has also instructed on advanced weapon systems as part of the Gunnery Career Course and trained soldiers in vehicle operation and maintenance.
