Guy Beusen has extensive experience in training and technical support within the defense sector. Currently serving as the Training and Technical Support Manager at John Cockerill since August 2011, responsibilities include managing customer training programs and serving as a subject matter expert in tank gunnery. Prior to this role, Guy Beusen held the position of OF-3 Senior Captain at the Ministry of Defense Belgium from December 1992 to July 2011, where duties included commanding the armament and gunnery wing and overseeing the technical training of turret crews for direct firing weapon systems. Earlier in a career starting in September 1977 at the Belgian Ministry of Defense, Guy Beusen focused on training turret crews for similar weapon systems. Guy Beusen's academic background includes an A2 degree in Latin-Greek from Koninklijk Atheneum Tongeren, completed in 1977.
