John Hoye

John Hoye is a seasoned athletics professional with extensive experience in educational institutions. Currently serving as the Director of Athletics at The John Cooper School since August 2016, John previously held a similar position at The Awty International School from 2001 to 2016, where John was also a Physical Education teacher and Head Varsity Basketball Coach. Additionally, John owned and operated Andrews & Hoye Landscape Designs from 2002 to 2011, contributing to the growth of the full-service landscape company. Prior experience includes serving as the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Rice University from 1998 to 2001. John's educational background includes a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Cultural Studies from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Louisiana State University. Currently, John is pursuing a Certificate in Sports Industry Essentials at Columbia University.
