Mohammad Hamidian is a seasoned expert in advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Senior Director of Advanced Analytics and AI at John Hancock since August 2020. With previous roles including Director and Lead Data Scientist, Mohammad has a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for fraud analytics and business challenges through machine learning models. Prior experience includes being a Senior Data Scientist at Swayable, where the focus was on applying experimental physics to influence communication patterns, as well as academic roles at prestigious institutions such as Harvard University, UC Davis, and Cornell University, where valuable contributions to experimental design and research management were made. Mohammad holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Cornell University, along with a Master of Science and Bachelor of Applied Science in Physics from the University of Toronto.
