Jane Hanson Cbe

Jane Hanson CBE is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in governance and advisory roles. Currently serving as Chair Designate and Non Executive Director at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water since January 2021, Jane also holds positions as Independent Advisor and Member of the Audit and Risk Committee at John Lewis Partnership, and Non Executive Director at HM Treasury and the Civil Aviation Authority. Jane’s longstanding role as a Magistrate at HM Courts & Tribunals Service began in August 2007, alongside operating JCH Associates, a consultancy specializing in corporate governance and risk management. Jane has previously chaired the Dormant Asset Expansion Board for the UK government and Reclaim Fund Ltd, and served as Non Executive Director at Rothesay and Direct Line Group. Academically, Jane is a Fellow Chartered Accountant from ICAEW and holds a BA (Hons) in Music from the University of York.
