Matt Hillier

Matt Hillier is an experienced Cyber Security professional currently serving as the Cyber Threat Defence Manager at John Lewis Partnership since December 2017, where leadership extends to a skilled team of Security Analysts and Engineers. Previously, Matt held various managerial roles within the same organization, including Secure by Design Manager, Cyber Threat & Vulnerability Manager, SOC Manager, and Cyber Security Incident Manager, focusing on governance, risk compliance, incident response, and threat management. Prior to joining John Lewis Partnership, Matt worked at Waitrose for over 13 years in positions such as Application Operations Manager and Senior Programmer, enhancing IT support and service delivery for critical business applications. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Southampton.
