Timothy La Rose is a seasoned communications leader with extensive experience in global public health and nonprofit advocacy. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Global Communications and Advocacy at JSI, Timothy has repositioned the organization as a media-ready leader in public health since April 2023. Prior roles include Director of Communications and Outreach at Ripple Effect, managing federal health campaigns, and Senior Communications and Advocacy Manager for USAID’s ENVISION project at RTI International. Timothy's background also features significant contributions to UNICEF during the Ebola outbreak, as well as leadership roles within the United Nations, where major digital and internal communications strategies were implemented. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Penn State University.
