Aamir Nanawati has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Aamir began their career as a Finance Manager at Aga Khan Foundation Pakistan from 2003 to 2005. Aamir then moved on to Ernst & Young, where they worked as a Senior Manager Assurance from 2005 to 2011. During this time, they were responsible for reviewing and preparing financial statements, preparing reports for the board of directors, and leading teams on assurance and special assignments.
In 2011, Aamir joined PTTEP, a subsidiary of PTTEP Australasia, as a Financial Reporting Manager. Here, they supervised the preparation of financial statements, provided technical assistance on accounting issues, managed the treasury function, and supervised a team of ten financial accountants. Aamir also played a key role in implementing SAP modules and coordinated external and internal audits.
Since 2015, Aamir has been working at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH), a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Johns Hopkins Medicine. Aamir initially served as a Financial Controller, where they led a large team of professionals in financial planning, treasury, taxation, accounting, and reporting. As a key member of the leadership team, Aamir developed business plans, delivered business objectives, and presented results to the Executive Management and Board of Directors.
Currently, Aamir holds the position of Director of Financial Planning and Decision Support at JHAH. In this role, they are responsible for budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic analysis.

Aamir Nanawati completed their education at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan from 1997 to 2003, earning a degree in Accounting and Finance (FCA). Aamir also holds certifications from the Institute of Public Accountants in Accounting and Finance (FIPA FFA) and Public Accounting. Additionally, Aamir obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Karachi University, with a focus on Business/Managerial Economics. Furthermore, they have obtained additional certifications in areas such as Emotional Intelligence, Power BI Data Modeling with DAX, Disruptive Strategy, and Healthcare Quality and Safety.
