Daniel Francis

Daniel Francis currently serves as an IT Manager at The Johns Hopkins University, a position held since March 2022. Prior to this role, Daniel worked as a Principal Engineer at DevFirst, LLC, where responsibilities involved consulting for clients including Johns Hopkins in the logistics sector. From January 2018 to April 2021, Daniel was the Vice President of Engineering at SchoolPass, leading technology initiatives for school dismissal, visitor management, and wellness software, while managing a significant user increase. Daniel spent nearly two decades at Omnitracs, advancing from Software Manager for Mobile to team lead in mobile development, and engaged in company-wide training. Earlier experience includes roles in mobile application development at World Duty Free-IDFS and various IT capacities at Loats Associates. Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Computer Software Engineering from West Virginia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Strayer University.
