Stuart Allan

Stuart Allan is an experienced Principal Process Engineer with over 35 years in the industry, currently at Johnson Matthey since October 2010, where responsibilities include leading the Engineering Contractor Enquiries Team and generating technical quotations and preliminary process designs for various plants related to hydrogen, ammonia, and syn gas. Previous experience includes serving as a Principal Process Engineer at Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd, where project management and client relations were essential while overseeing projects from concept to commissioning. Earlier roles involved front end design and engineering of gas handling facilities at Babcock King-Wilkinson Limited and firewater systems at Babcock Contractors Limited. Stuart Allan began the career as a Chemical Engineer at Linpac Insulation Products and holds a BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds.
