James Barker

James Barker currently serves as the Group Manager of Procurement & Efficiency at Journey Beyond since May 2021. Prior to this role, James held the position of Facilities Manager at Beach Energy Ltd from December 2018 to May 2021, overseeing operations and maintenance across multiple office sites. James also held positions as a Procurement Officer at SA Health and as Head of Procurement at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where responsibilities included managing significant procurement budgets and leading major capital projects. James's experience in procurement began as a Commercial Manager for Dstl, managing procurement for a specialized department, and earlier as a Purchasing & Marketing Assistant at Images at Work. James holds a Diploma in Procurement & Supply from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply and a BA(Hons) in Business Studies from Bournemouth University.
