He excelled in various international mathematics and programming competitions (IMO, IOI, ACM ICPC) and completed a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Computer Science (cum laude) at the University of Stellenbosch. He is an expert in mobile data synchronization, scaling, offline mobile applications, software architecture, and algorithms.
