Greg Sobczak

Greg Sobczak is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in CAD team management within the automotive safety industry. Currently serving as Senior Manager of the CAD Team for Joyson Safety Systems since April 2018, Greg oversees full CAD team throughput for the Americas region across design centers in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and Monterrey, Mexico. Prior to this role, Greg held multiple positions at Key Safety Systems from 2001 to 2018, including Design Manager, where responsibilities spanned North American CAD team operations and involved coordination with teams in Michigan, Florida, Mexico, and Shanghai. Greg began the career as Lead Designer for the AirBag Team, focusing on CAD, design, and change management. Educational background includes attendance at Macomb Community College from 1980 to 1983.
