Johannes Kruse

Johannes Kruse is an Industrial Ph.D. Student at JP/Politikens Hus since December 2021, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, undertaking a visiting researcher role at UC San Diego from March 2024 to June 2025. Previous experience includes positions such as Machine Learning Engineer at Ekstra Bladet, Junior Consultant at Implement Consulting Group, and Data Analyst at AudienceProject, among others. Johannes contributed to the Danish Ethics Committee as an External Consultant, developing a working paper on ‘Privacy-by-Design’ and has held several academic roles, including Teaching Assistant at the Technical University of Denmark and Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Educational credentials encompass a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from DTU and UC San Diego, as well as a Master of Science in Mathematical Modelling and Computation and a Master's in Artificial Intelligence.
