Jackie began a career in communications as a Junior Communications Officer at National Tooling from January 2016 to October 2017. Educationally, Jackie holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Tshwane University of Technology and participated in the Higher Africa: Future Journalists Programme at Rhodes University, focusing on Communication and Media Studies.
