Jo Strausz Rosen

Jo Strausz Rosen serves as the Executive Director of Development at Jewish Senior Life of Metropolitan Detroit since October 2018, focusing on community engagement and fundraising efforts that enhance the lives of older adults while promoting Jewish values. In addition to this role, Jo Rosen has operated Jo Rosen Antiques and Art since January 1980, providing artistic design and consultation services as well as decorative antiques distribution. Previous experience includes a tenure as Director of Estate and Gift Planning at the American Cancer Society from June 2009 to July 2018, where emphasis was placed on donor communication and engagement across multiple Michigan regions. Earlier, Jo held the position of Director at the American Technion Society from May 2000 to February 2009, successfully securing funding from local philanthropists and organizing educational initiatives within the Detroit community. Jo holds a BA in Education from Eastern Michigan University and further education from the Center for Creative Studies.
