Full Stack Developer

Job description

About the Role: We’re looking for a high-output Application Engineer to join our recovery effort for the Funding Management System (FMS) — a business-critical internal platform supporting underwriting, funding, compliance, and customer service operations.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with Product, QA, and functional users to fix bugs, optimize system performance, and roll out enhancements that make real impact. This is a hands-on, feature-fix-forward role — ideal for engineers who like to solve problems, not just build from scratch.

Responsibilities:

Triage and fix bugs across FMS modules (Underwriting, Contracts, Journaling, Portals, Data Pipelines) Build iterative enhancements based on user feedback (UI alerts, assignment logic, dashboard updates) Collaborate with QA and Product to validate business workflows and regression scenarios Write clean, maintainable, scalable code with a focus on stability Participate in sprint planning, daily triage, and stakeholder demos Support integrations with tools like Modern Treasury, DocuSign, and QuickSight Optimize performance under increasing deal volume (e.g., queue handling, bulk processing, caching) Skills & Requirements:

3+ years backend or full-stack development experience (Node.js, Python, or TypeScript preferred) Experience working in triage-heavy or recovery-stage environments Strong with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar) Familiarity with async job queues and backend data validation Comfort working across the stack (API → DB → UI, if needed) Exposure to internal tools, enterprise logic, or fintech platforms a plus Bonus: Experience with FMS-like systems (underwriting, deal funding, ledgers, portals) Bonus: Familiarity with Modern Treasury, DWH syncs, AWS, or compliance tooling Ideal Candidate:

Can take ownership of small-to-medium features or bugs with minimal supervision Understands the pressure of business-critical systems — and builds with stability in mind Asks smart questions to close product gaps or ambiguity Enjoys collaborating with Product, QA, and end users Why This Role Matters: FMS supports mission-critical workflows across credit, sales, funding, and compliance. As a developer on this team, your work will directly impact speed, accuracy, and trust in the company’s most important operating system.
