Jumpstart
Jacob Fowler has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a fourth-grade teacher at Oakland Unified School District since August 2018. Additionally, Jacob has taken on the role of Head of Department for the Literature Department at Breakthrough Collaborative since June 2016 and previously worked as a Teaching Fellow, focusing on science education for eighth-grade students in the same organization’s summer program. Prior to these roles, Jacob served as a Team Leader at Jumpstart and completed an internship as a Teaching Intern at Pomona Hope Community Center. Jacob holds a Bachelor's degree in English: World Literature and Psychology, obtained from Pitzer College in 2018.
