Benjamin Hillard

Benjamin Hillard is an ATP-certified pilot currently serving as a Captain at JSX, with an EMB-145 type rating since September 2022. Additionally, Benjamin holds the position of Flight Instructor at US Aviation Group since April 2021 and has experience as a First Officer with a commercial certification and E135/145 SIC type rating based out of KDAL. Benjamin's diverse background includes serving as a Volunteer Audio Engineer at The Village Church Denton, conducting live performances, and working as a Freelance Music Composer, Conductor, and Arranger on various projects since November 2012. Previous roles encompass being a Restaurant Marketing Director at Chick-fil-A, an Assistant Band Director at College Station ISD, and serving as a substitute teacher in multiple school districts. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of North Texas and is a graduate of William Howard Taft High School.
