Gavin Jones

Gavin Jones currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at JSX, overseeing the financial and operational performance of various teams, including Flight Operations and Customer Care, since March 2024. Prior to this role, Gavin was the Vice President of Technical Operations at Horizon Air, where responsibilities included setting long-term strategies and maintaining relationships with union leaders and the FAA. Gavin also held the position of Managing Director of Engineering at both Alaska Airlines and United Airlines, focusing on aircraft engineering operations and team leadership. With a robust background at Continental Airlines and Boeing, Gavin has developed expertise in structural engineering and operational support for large airline fleets. Gavin holds a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering from UNSW and a Postgraduate degree in Japanese from Keio University.
