Leah Fisher

Leah Fisher, LMSW, is an experienced social worker with a robust background in various roles dedicated to supporting individuals, particularly those with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. Currently serving as an Intake Coordinator at Community Options, Inc. since May 2022, Leah previously held positions such as Program Operations Specialist at SEEC, where responsibilities included managing compliance for Person-Centered Plans and coordinating services. Leah also worked as a Supported Employment Specialist at Cornerstone Montgomery, focusing on Transition Aged Youth clients with serious mental illnesses, and gained valuable experience through internships with the Human Rights Campaign, District of Columbia Public Schools, and the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Leah holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from James Madison University.
