James Lin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. James started their career as an intern in the Business Intelligence Consulting Team at Accenture in 2011. James then joined DBS Bank in 2012, where they worked as a Product Implementation specialist in Transaction Banking. James was responsible for implementing cash management products for corporate, commercial, and SME clients.
In 2015, James joined Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation as a Relationship Manager - Transaction Banking. Their responsibilities included maintaining existing Japanese clients through cash management services, providing cash management solutions to new and existing clients, and optimizing product utilization. James also approached new customers and implemented products at customers' sites. James built strong relationships with key finance personnel in Japanese suppliers of a main automotive manufacturer.
After two years, James joined JCB as a Credit Card Issuing Manager, where they oversaw the issuance of credit cards. James then moved on to CekAja.com in 2019, where they worked as a Partnership Manager, handling partnerships with various organizations. Most recently, James joined JULO as a Business Development Manager, where they are currently involved in business development activities.
James Lin attended the University of London from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting and Finance. In addition to their degree, James also holds several certifications. James obtained the certification for Microsoft Excel 2010 Customized for Analysis from EXECUTRAIN in September 2016. James also earned the Certified Risk Management - Level 2 certification from Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi Perbankan in February 2016, and the Certified Risk Management – Level 1 certification from the same institution in July 2014.
