Steven Lamony

Steven joined Jumia in 2019 as Head of Commercial Operations and Revenue, before advancing to the role of Chief Commercial Officer. In this capacity, he has been instrumental in driving the transformation and strategic growth of Jumia’s business in Uganda. He is a passionate advocate for the future of e-commerce in Africa and remains deeply committed to its development across the continent.

Prior to his tenure at Jumia, Steven built his career in banking and finance at Barclays, where he developed strong expertise in business development and analytics. He is a trained economist and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, Scotland.
