Vikas Gottemukkula

Vikas Gottemukkula is a seasoned professional in the field of machine learning and biometrics, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Machine Learning at Jumio Corporation since July 2022. Prior to this role, Vikas held positions at ZOLOZ, first as a Senior Research Scientist where leadership was provided in machine learning research focused on biometric modalities, and previously as a Research Scientist developing algorithms for smartphone biometric solutions. Vikas began work at EyeVerify as a Research Intern, contributing to the development of algorithms for eyeprint biometrics and later returned for another internship to focus on quality metrics and registration techniques. Vikas's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, complemented by a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in related fields.
