Matt Slocum

Matt Slocum has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Matt currently serves as a Principal Software Engineer at JumpCloud since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at SpotX, where they held two roles. From January 2019 to January 2021, they served as the Senior Director of Engineering, overseeing six software teams and handling project architecture and product team collaboration. Before that, they worked as a Team Lead & Principal Software Engineer from July 2013 to January 2019.

Earlier in their career, Matt worked at Sharefaith as a Senior Developer from February 2011 to July 2013, where they played a crucial role in developing and launching a website template business, designing admin and image editors, and providing website updating services.

Matt also gained valuable experience at Jackson Marketing Group as a Producer from September 2006 to February 2011, producing corporate videos for major clients and managing a video sharing website.

Prior to that, they worked as a Producer at The Wilds Christian Association, Inc. from May 2005 to August 2006, creating weekly highlights videos and promotional materials.

Matt Slocum received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Bob Jones University in the period of 2002 to 2006. In 2016, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster certification from Scrum Alliance.
