Robert Mulley

Robert Mulley has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Robert is currently working as an Engineering Manager at JumpCloud since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Uplight as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2020 to July 2021. In this role, they contributed to architectural committee discussions, developed a CLI tool for testing, and advocated for code modernization and standardization.

Before Uplight, Robert was a Senior Software Engineer at Strata Identity from February 2020 to May 2020. During this time, they helped design and build a distributed management orchestrator, conducted interviews for hiring, and utilized technologies such as Golang, AWS, and Pivotal Tracker.

Robert's previous experience also includes working at JumpCloud, where they held multiple positions. From June 2018 to January 2020, they served as a Senior Software Engineer, leading a team and contributing to the expansion of the Policy Management feature. Robert also played a key role in designing and implementing JumpCloud's System Insights feature. Prior to that, from August 2015 to June 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer, where they designed and created the Policy Management feature and made contributions to various areas of the codebase.

Robert started their career at CB Insights, where they held various roles. Robert was a Lead Software Engineer from January 2015 to August 2015, a Software Engineer from June 2010 to August 2015, and a Software Engineer Intern from February 2010 to May 2010. At CB Insights, they were instrumental in bootstrapping and revenue generation, led the design and implementation of the company's first API, and developed programs for data scraping and automation.

In addition to their software engineering roles, Robert also worked as a Software Engineer at Kettlebell Kitchen from February 2013 to February 2014. In this position, they designed and built the entire website and ordering system as a minimum viable product that is still in use today.

Robert Mulley attended Honeoye Central from 1992 to 2005. After completing high school, they enrolled at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from 2005 to 2010.
