Justdiggit
Justdiggit makes dry lands green again at scale with great impact on climate, nature and people. We can scale our proven regreening methods by inspiring and activating millions of local people at very low costs through partnerships with strong Global Brands and Organisations. Currently Justdiggit is regreening 60,000 hectares in Kenya and Tanzania but aim to impact millions of smallholders throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. Our sustainable, scalable and cost effective methods for soil and vegetation recovery helps farmers to improve their lands, next to making a positive impact on ecosystems and climate. Summarising we impact the below (8 SDG’s): • Climate (we restore ecosystems, restoring the soil, impact biodiversity and sequester carbon with new vegetation), • Water (replenishment of billions of liters yearly per project, restoring ground water levels is a long term sustainable solution), • Agriculture & Food Security (we make dry lands green and fertile again to sustain and boost agriculture and empower livelihoods of local farmers) • People & Socio Economic effects as we aim to work with and empower self-sustaining, thriving local Communities in Africa.
