Itziar Diez-Canedo

Itziar Diez-Canedo is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in international business and digital transformation. Currently serving as VP International at Justworks since October 2023, Itziar previously co-founded and led Via.work, a global employment platform acquired by Justworks, which aimed to enable organizations to operate globally. Prior to this, Itziar held significant roles at Citi, including Senior Vice President, Head of Strategy for Citi FinTech, where strategic initiatives for new FinTech products were launched globally, as well as Vice President, Head of Strategy for Digital Banking in Latin America, overseeing digital transformation across ten countries. Early career experience includes international business development at Cabo Adventures and a financial analyst position at the Inter-American Development Bank. Itziar holds a Master’s Degree from Stanford University, focusing on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, International Finance, and Marketing from the University of Miami, complemented by studies at The London School of Economics.
