K. Barnett & Sons, Inc. (KBS) is a privately held General Contracting Company specializing in aggregate, concrete, and hot mix asphalt materials production, highway construction, federal military infra-structure improvements, airports, commercial building sites, sub-division developments, municipal improvements, below-ground storm drainage, sanitary sewer, site-concrete, and miscellaneous heavy construction.  

The Company was established in Clovis, NM in 1959 by K. Barnett Sr. and his two sons: K. Barnett Jr. and Bill Barnett. The company operates primarily in Eastern New Mexico and West Texas. 

KBS considers its employees to be its most important asset. The company fosters a culture of safety, accountability, and strives to allow employees to grow within the company to achieve their maximum potential. This is partially why the employees of KBS have such a long tenure with the company. 

KBS has worked and been a part of the Clovis, NM Community for over 50 years and has been fortunate to work with outstanding local businesses, the administrations of the area cities and counties, the State DOT, the Federal Government on Cannon Air Force Base, and a number of local, state, and national charities.
