Brett Eakin is a seasoned professional in athletic marketing and fan experience, currently serving as the Director of Fan Experience at K-State Athletics since September 2017. Previously, Eakin held the position of Executive Director of Marketing and Branding at the University of Louisville Athletics Department, where responsibilities included overseeing marketing initiatives, ticket sales strategies, and in-game promotions for 23 sport programs. Eakin's extensive experience encompasses various roles within the University of Louisville Athletics, beginning as a Marketing Coordinator and progressing to positions involving brand marketing, compliance, and event management, all while successfully producing and directing promotional activities and managing budgets. Eakin holds a Master of Science in Sport Administration from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Leadership Studies from Kansas State University.
