Lou DeSetto has over 20 years of experience in software development. Lou began their career in 1996 as a Senior Software Developer at Radiant Systems. During their time there, they developed a customer-facing ordering/payment application and its graphical authoring tools for touchscreen kiosks and gas pumps. Lou also helped create the Lighthouse (RPOS) point of sale. In 2002, they were promoted to Product Lead/Business Unit Manager at BlueCube Software (formerly Radiant Systems). There, they built the Performance Management team and suite of tools around their ad-hoc metric reporting tool and ROLAP engine. In 2005, they joined Hi-Rez Studios as a Senior Software Developer, where they helped build a platform for massively multi-player online games. In 2006, they founded Timely Development, a software consulting firm. Finally, in 2016, they joined Kahua as a Principal Software Developer.

Lou DeSetto received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1995 and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution in 1996.
