Iain Coyne

Iain Coyne is an Engineer I at Kairos Power since April 2024, with prior experience as a Design Engineer I at ECT2 from April 2022 to March 2024, where Iain supported the design of water treatment systems and large-scale renewable natural gas projects, producing various design documentation. Earlier experience includes a student internship at the California Department of General Services, focused on the feasibility analysis of solar PV and storage projects, and a role as a Wilderness Guide at Outback Adventures, leading outdoor trips and teaching safety skills. Iain also served as the PSWC Environmental Team Leader at SCSE at UC San Diego, where a water filtration system project was successfully completed. Iain holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Renewable Energy and Environmental Flows from UC San Diego.
