Dr. Ben Maruthappu

Dr. Ben Maruthappu is the Founder and CEO of Cera, a digital-first home healthcare company that utilizes technology to deliver quality care directly to homes, serving a population of 30 million people across the UK and Germany. In addition to this role since July 2016, Dr. Maruthappu has served as a Medical Doctor in Public Health at UCL, where extensive research has resulted in 100 peer-reviewed publications and multiple awards. Dr. Maruthappu's influence extends to being a Co-founder and Board Member of the NHS Innovation Accelerator, which has significantly improved patient outcomes, and serving as an advisor to Bain & Company on healthcare practices. Other roles include advisory board member positions at various health organizations, Board Member for the North West London Integrated Care System and Kingdom Bank Ltd, and previous board membership at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Dr. Maruthappu holds medical degrees from prestigious institutions including the University of Oxford and Harvard University, complemented by a Master of Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
