Neil Cowles

Neil Cowles serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President for Kaiser Permanente, overseeing technology investments to enhance care for over 12 million members. Cowles has held various executive roles within Kaiser Permanente, focusing on the management and modernization of corporate IT systems, technical operations of the electronic medical record system, and leading critical application platforms. Prior to Kaiser Permanente, Cowles was the CEO of Tolven Inc., developing open-source solutions for healthcare data storage. Cowles also held senior director positions at Oracle Corporation and Torex Health, along with foundational roles at Shared Medical System and NHS. Educational credentials include an Executive Leadership Program from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science from London South Bank University.
