Reena B.

Reena B. serves as a Clinical Professor at the Institute of Medical Educators and the Medical Director for Digital Health, Telehealth, and Remote Virtual Health Care Delivery at Kaiser Permanente since 1996. Reena has developed clinical algorithms and decision tools used by over 2,000 clinical staff, leveraging insights from more than 300 million patient interactions. Reena is Board Certified in Lifestyle Management and Clinical Informatics, focusing on managing cardiovascular risks and diabetes through lifestyle changes and advancing digital health care systems. Additionally, Reena has held roles as a Resident Teaching faculty member, as Director of Research for the Advice & Appointment Call Center, and has been involved in multiple research projects. Current positions include Board Member and Programs Committee Chair for HIMSS Northern California Chapter and Councilor for the Santa Clara County Medical Association. Reena’s educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from MLN Medical College in India and various fellowships from Stanford University School of Medicine.
