Thad Roake

Thad Roake is an accomplished executive in the health insurance industry, currently serving as the Vice President of Sales Strategy and Operations at Kaiser Permanente since September 2012. In this role, Thad oversees six sales enablement functions, focusing on enhancing sales performance and operations. Previous positions at Kaiser Permanente include Vice President for California Sales, Channel Management, and Business Development, as well as California Sales and Account Management. Thad also held leadership roles at Blue Shield of California as VP-General Manager, managing a team serving over 550,000 members, and at Anthem, Inc., where significant contributions were made to the Large Group Sales Division. Earlier career experience includes positions at State Mutual, Mutual of Omaha, and American General Life Companies. Thad holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from Florida State University and completed an Executive Program in Business Administration and Management at Harvard Business School.
