Päivi Koivisto serves as the VP of Sustainability at Kalmar since April 2024, steering the company's sustainability agenda. Prior to this role, Päivi held the position of VP of Sustainability at Cargotec from September 2019 to April 2024 and was Director of Sustainability at UPM Communication Papers from April 2018 to September 2019. With extensive experience at UPM, Päivi's roles included Director of Sustainability for UPM Paper ENA and VP of Stakeholder Relations (acting). Responsibilities encompassed managing global sustainability teams, developing sustainability strategies, and overseeing environmental matters in M&A activities. Educational qualifications include an eMBA from Hanken & SSE Executive Education and an MSc in Environmental Technology from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
