Lucas Mahieu has a work experience that spans from 2013 to the present. Lucas started their career in 2013 as a Reservist in the Marine Nationale, where they worked in a team of 10 and was responsible for the protection and defense of Toulon's naval base. In 2014, they worked as a Private Tutor, providing science tuition to three A-Level students, demonstrating their responsibility and ability to work with others. From 2015 to 2016, Lucas worked at STMicroelectronics as a Machine-Operator, managing the production flow in the clean room by night and optimizing the production flow of semiconductor wafers. In 2016, they had an internship at CEA, where they worked as a SW Engineer, designing an energy management demonstrator for embedded SoC on Linux. In 2017, Lucas had another internship at CEA, this time as a SW Engineer Intern, where they prototyped an occupancy grid analysis algorithm using a deep learning approach. Finally, since 2017, they have been employed at Kalray as a Senior Embedded Machine Learning Compiler Engineer, working on Many Core processors.

From 2015 to 2017, they attended the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Embedded Systems and Software.

In 2014 to 2015, they studied at Grenoble INP - Phelma, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Electronics, and Telecommunications.

Between 2012 and 2014, Lucas Mahieu attended the Military School of Aix-en-Provence, where they completed a BAC+2 degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Science.
