Goncalo P.

Goncalo P.'s work experience includes a variety of roles in different companies. In 2014, they worked as a Lead Technologist - DevOps at DigitasLBi, where they led a development/operations team and promoted best practices. Goncalo then moved on to work as a Consultant for Dazed & Confused, assisting the team with infrastructure migration to Azure. In 2015, they joined Knowsis Limited as a Development and Operations - DevOps contractor. Goncalo also worked at NTS LIVE LTD as a Lead Developer, responsible for stabilizing the system and improving streaming capabilities. From 2016 to 2022, Goncalo held various contract roles, including Development and Automation Consultant - DevOps at DigitasLBi and Consultancy, Development and Infrastructure at PALACE SKATEBOARDS LIMITED. In 2017, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at HM Revenue & Customs, contributing to payment integration projects. Goncalo then joined Tesco as a Senior Software Developer, focusing on high availability and high volume services. Most recently, Goncalo is employed at Hopin as a Staff Engineer, leading multiple projects and pushing for monitoring and observability efforts. In 2023, they will be starting a new role as a Principal Engineer at Kaluza.

Goncalo P. obtained a Licentiate degree in Information Systems and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Architecture and Distributed Systems from Instituto Superior Técnico. In addition, they have certifications in Splunk 7.x Fundamentals Parts 1 and 2 from Splunk, as well as a certification in Web Security and the OWASP from Pluralsight.
