Karla Casper has extensive experience in the electrical and automation sector, currently serving as the Superintendent of Electric Metering and Services at the Kansas City Board of Public Utilities since October 2016. Prior to this role, Karla was an Automation Senior Product Specialist at Anixter, focusing on advanced metering infrastructure and related services across multiple states. Karla also held the position of Manager of Smart Grid Solutions at Elster from February 2003 to December 2014, where significant achievements included securing a $20 million Smart Grid system contract for a Kansas City municipality and managing extensive sales operations within the region. Earlier in Karla's career, a sales role at ABB contributed to exceeding $25 million in sales goals. Karla holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
