Gaye Leonard has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to development, community relations, and executive management.
Gaye started their career at KMPH TV in Fresno, CA as a Community Relations Manager in 1989. Gaye then joined the Central California Blood Center in 1994 as the Director of Community Relations and Development. After six years of service, they transitioned to the Cherry Creek Schools Foundation in 2001, where they served as the Executive Director for eight years. Since 2009, Gaye Leonard has been working at KU Endowment as the Development Director.
Gaye Leonard obtained their Bachelor's degree in Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin, where they attended from 1978 to 1982.
